A Tudor arch has four circular arcs: two small shoulders and two larger arcs meeting at a pointed crown. BrickCore uses a fixed construction with shoulder radius equal to half the rise, calculating all four centres, bricks, joints and cutting dimensions.
A segmental arch follows part of a circle above an opening. The span and rise determine its curvature. BrickCore draws the arch, distributes the bricks and shows how the joints meet.
A semicircular arch has the shape of half a circle. Its intrados radius is half the opening width. The brick division and joints determine how the masonry closes at the crown.
A pointed arch joins two curved sides at a pointed crown. Its width and height determine the shape. BrickCore calculates both sides together so you can inspect the brick division at the apex.
A rampant arch connects springing points at different heights. BrickCore lets you choose the higher side and set the side angles. The drawing shows how bricks span the unequal springing levels.
A basket-handle arch combines circular arcs into a low, broad profile. The selected shape determines the transition from the sides to the centre. BrickCore uses this geometry to divide the bricks and joints.
An elliptical arch follows an ellipse. Its curvature changes along the arch, so the brick layout needs its own calculation. BrickCore computes the curve and the corresponding brick and joint geometry.
A circular window has a complete masonry ring around the opening. Its brick division must close through 360 degrees. BrickCore calculates the bricks and joints around the ring and the individual cutting profiles.
A jack arch divides tapered bricks above an opening. BrickCore calculates each brick and joint for a flat or cambered profile. The workshop starts with a depth of 10 cm.
Dutch gable weaving connects inclined masonry along the roof line to horizontal wall courses. Choose the number of courses per tooth. The top two sections on each side have their own shortened pieces.
