A pointed arch joins two curved sides at a pointed crown. Its width and height determine the shape. BrickCore calculates both sides together so you can inspect the brick division at the apex.

Measure the span and the height of the point above the springing line. Choose brick size, joint and arch-ring depth. Natural-stone springers and a keystone change the interfaces in the layout.
Each curved half has its own circle centre. The joints on the left therefore point towards a different centre from those on the right. Both layouts must meet at the crown, where an ordinary uncut middle brick cannot simply be inserted.
For a 120 cm span, the centreline is 60 cm from either side. A 90 cm rise places the inner point 90 cm above the springing line. Both measurements are needed; the width alone does not define the point.
